Brandid Sports: Players Of The Texas UIL State Championships

Updated: Dec 22, 2021

Some of the best performances we've seen all season happened at the Texas UIL State Championships this past weekend. A few Brandid Sports Player Of The Week alumni like Galena Park North Shore Quarterback Kaleb Bailey, Defensive backs Jayven Anderson and Caleb Flagg, Dallas South Oak Cliff Quarterback Kevin Henry-Jennings, Defensive Back Abdul Muhammad, Gunter Athlete Ethan Sloan, College Station Running Back Marquise Collins, and Duncanville Defensive End Omari Abor all could have been selected again for those honors. But we wanted to select some other players who hadn't been recognized by us before.

This week's Players Of The Week are (Game Changers) Franklin (TX) Athlete Malcom Murphy and Austin Westlake (TX) Wideout Jaden Greathouse, (Big Steppers) Katy Paetow Defensive Back Kentrell Webb and Austin Westlake Defensive End Colton Vasek, (Sleepers) Stephenville (TX) Athlete Coy Eakin and China Springs (TX) Defensive Back Tre Hafford.
