Frisco Reedy Remain Undefeated With 42-6 Victory

Frisco Reedy excelled in all three phases of the game in a 42-6 victory over Sherman Friday night at Bearcat Stadium. "We got to come up here to a fantastic old school high school football stadium and have some fun. Kids had to overcome some adversity, overcome a first half run, and I just liked the way they bounced back". Reedy Head Coach Chad Cole

It was Sherman who scored first on a fantastic Caleb Orr to Phoenix Grant 61-yard touchdown pass. Giving the Bearcats a 6-0 Lead after a failed two point conversion. Despite being under pressure from the Reedy front seven all night, Orr threw for 183 yards and a touchdown. Grant was the leading receiver with 96 yards on 4 receptions and Vontrelle Sanders had 58 yards on 3 receptions. The Reedy Defensive Line held the Bearcats to -37 yards rushing.

Reedy would answer the Sherman score with back to back Dennis Moody touchdowns. Moody's first touchdown was 3-yard touchdown run and on the ensuing drive Moody scored on a touchdown pass from Quarterback Caleb Deal. Moody rushed for 103 yards and had 4 catches for 44 yard and a touchdown. Moody gave all the credit to his offensive line,

"Without them I wouldn't be doing what I'm doing. All glory to them, because they do what they are supposed to do day in and day out." Moody
