The Garland Owls Dominated The Eagles

The star-studded Garland Owls (TX) were just too much for the young Eagles from Richardson High (TX). Garland used an explosive offense and opportunistic defense to earn a 55-3 victory.

Senior quarterback and South Dakota commit Cergio Perez (@CergioPerez12) threw for 350 yards and 6 touchdown passes. Perez, connected with SMU commit Jordan Hudson for a 175 yards and 3 touchdowns. Perez, spread the wealth with touchdowns passes to senior athlete Aaron King, senior wide receiver Ellis Rodgers, and senior running back Jayshon Powers. “It’s fun coming out here every game playing with the people I love. The gameplan coach had for us, I think we really did like I said executed it” Perez.
Powers, found the end zone on the ground for the Owls also. Junior running back Keyunte King provided the final points for the Owls. Both backs had some explosive runs behind a dominant offensive line that got the crowd and Owls sideline going.

Hudson, was impressed with the team performance also. “We played as a unit, we played together, and we came out with the victory. Our game plan was to come out strong, come out with our feet on the pedal and that’s what we did” Hudson.
Camryn Reeves, Kaden Alcorn, and Howard Armstrong were players who stood out for Richardson.
The Owls defense led by SMU commit Chace Biddle created multiple turnovers and held the Eagles to less than 50 yards rushing.

The Owls will play travel to Plano to play Prestonwood next week. While Richardson will travel to Mesquite to play North Mesquite.
