Good Old Fashion Texas Shootout: Rockwell Heath vs Lewisville

Lewisville - There were 35 points scored in the first quarter including a 95 yard kickoff return by Rockwall-Heath’s Jordan Nabors to set the tone for a 72 point performance for Heath. Heath scored on offense, defense, and special teams and would prevail 72-52 over Lewisville (TX) Friday night.



The Heath offense was led by a Junior Quarterback Josh Hoover who passed for 332 yards and 4 touchdowns, and a Junior Zach Evans and Senior Preston Landis running attack that rushed for 4 combines touchdowns.



Evans, led the way with 125 yards and a touchdown. While Landis, gained 73 yards and found the end zone 3 times.




Grant Watson, scored twice on for the Heath Hawks. He returned an interception for a touchdown and a blocked extra point for a two points.



Lewisville put a good fight led by Junior running back Damien Martinez 5 touchdowns and Senior quarterback Taylen Green 307 total yards. Green, a Boise State commit, threw 2 touchdown passes to Senior wide receiver Isiah Stevens.


Heath start the season 1-0 and Lewisville opens the season 0-1. Here are more post game
