Each week play makers rise to the occasion, bring their “A” game and lead their team to victory. The Hit Your Marc Spotlight will focus on highlighting those players who are difference makers, athletes who “Brandid “ their performance.
Dallas Carter high school, has been know for producing next level talent, dating back to the late 80’s. Last Saturday I travel down to Cleburne Texas to watch the Cowboys take on the Yellowjackets of Cleburne and came away very impressed with a few Cowboys standouts.
Edward Robinson RB C/O 2022
Robinson is a slasher, has breakaway speed to go the distance, and can switch gears on the run. He is a playmaker from the running back position who was a key cog in helping the Cowboys come from behind to beat Cleburne 36-34. Colleges coaches should definitely take a peek at Robinson.
Kobe Rivers DE C/O 2022
Rivers is an edge rusher in the Cowboys defense. Against Cleburne, his was disruptive, has speed off the edge, sets the outside edge from his defensive end postion, which lead to quarterback sacks and tackles for loss. Kobe is difference maker for Carter’s defense.
Jakourien Hooker Duncan DE C/O 2022
Duncan lines up on the opposite side from his running mate Rivers. He has a quick first step, has violent hands, uses good extension to keep blockers at bay, and has good bend off the edge. On several plays in the second half, Duncan had keys plays to halt the Yellowjacket offensive attack.
