Legends Showcase Series College Evaluation Recap

The Legends Showcase Series hosted a College Evaluation Showcase for unsigned seniors and underclassmen at Robstown High School. Lineman and skill position prospects from places like San Antonio, Houston, DFW, Corpus Christi, Amarillo and more came to show their skills and get evaluated by coaches and media.

The prospects received instruction from a coaching staff full of former NFL players like Quarterback Quincy Carter, Quarterback Reggie McNeal Sr, Offensive Lineman Keith Wagner, and Wide Receiver Keevan Lucas before the showcase first session. The prospects were sponges for their knowledge and they definitely put on a show.

The first session featured OL/DL individual drills and 1 on 1 competition. There were some intense competitions and great performances. The MVPs were Calallen (TX) 2022 Offensive Lineman Daniel Garcia and Amarillo Tascosa (TX) 2022 Outside Linebacker Abrian Humphrey. Both show were dominant in 1 on 1 competitions and competition drills. Other standouts were Brownwood (TX) 2024 DL Quinten McCarty, and Robstown (TX) 2024 DE Elijah Lamkin.

The biggest standout was Flower Mound Marcus (TX) 2023 Defensive Lineman Devin Strange. The 6'3" 230 pound DL showed basketball player like ability in individual and competition drills. He was equally dominant in 1 on 1 drills. The junior standout currently holds offers from Michigan and Southern Miss, but Strange will have offers from all Power 5 conferences before summer time.

The second session featured QBs and Skill position players was even more competitive and exciting than the first session. The prospects competed in various competition drills before ending with 1 on 1 competitions. Converse Judson (TX) 2023 Wideout and Arkansas commit Anthony Evans really stood out in individual drills, but wasn't allowed to participate in 1 on 1 drills by Camp Director Jacob Morrison. The biggest standouts and MVPs were Corpus Christi Miller (TX) 2024 Quarterback Jaedyn Brown, Southlake Carroll (TX) 2024 Tight End Harrison Moore, Converse Judson (TX) 2023 Athlete Jeremiah Dunn and Wideout Jonathan Johnson ,and Creek (TX) 2023 Athlete Zyran King-Brooks.

Other standouts were Katy Mayde Creek (TX) 2025 Quarterback Reggie McNeal Jr, Gregory Portland 2024 ATH Colton Harrison, and Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (TX) 2024 Defensive Backs Luke Johnson and Christian Sabrook.
